How to install on Android
Our app is waiting for Google Play approval. Until then you can install it straight from elect.ng:
- Tap "Download for Android" and wait for the download to finish.
- Open the downloaded file (elect-ng….apk) from your notifications or the Downloads folder.
- If your phone asks, allow your browser to "Install unknown apps", then go back and tap Install.
- Open elect.ng and sign in, or create your account.
Is it safe?
Yes. Only download the app from elect.ng. It is signed with our own certificate, so Android will refuse any copy someone has changed. The app asks only for the permissions it needs: notifications, and your camera or photos when you choose to add a picture.

When the app reaches Google Play
We will tell you in the app. Google Play signs apps with its own key, so you may need to uninstall this version once before installing from Google Play. Your account and posts are kept on elect.ng; just sign in again.
